After a serious traffic accident a young woman falls into a deep coma. Trapped in her mind she is thrown into a struggle between life and death. Aided by three unscrupulous men, her own reflected self confronts her with all the memories, failings and mistakes of the past, urging her to end this life not worth living. They are opposed by the young woman´s friend and an embodiment of creativity and chaos who try to help her back on the path to light. Finally, she stands before the decision of her lifetime. As Hamlet would have put it: „…´tis a consummation devoutly to be wish´d. To die to sleep; to sleep perchance to dream – ay, there´s the rub: For in that sleep of death what dreams may come, when we have shuffled off this mortal coil…”

The play takes place on a split stage, representing the two hemispheres of the young woman´s brain. Often there will be simultaneous acting on both sides, with interlocking semantic and narrative patterns that combine to a quite unique experience.
